What to do?

Aegviidu is full of hiking trails and it’s a nice place to visit all year around as there is lot of beauty of nature during every season. Did you know that we have 40 lakes and the large number of lakes has given the area its nickname – the Switzerland of Estonia?

Additionaly to beautiful nature there are interesting cultural places and sight seeings, suitable for young and older visitors.

Easiest to get to Aegviidu by train. You can take train from Balti Jaam railway station in Tallinn and enjoy 40 minutes ride. You can take the train back to Tallinn, but you can also bring your tent and stay at the camp site for the night. Lodging is also provided at the area’s accommodation establishments. Check the list of all accommodation offers and choose your favourite.
